Ever heard of "skin-to-win?" Mobile Legends: Bang Bang takes this age-old ideology further with the prestigious, one-of-a-kind Collector Skins. While skins and cosmetics have no bearing on the game outcome itself, they definitely offer style points that could intimidate your opponent into submission.

Collector Skins are the rarest skin tiers in Mobile Legends, starring animated portraits, flashy in-game animations, unique sound effects, and even detailed ability icons. These rare and expensive skins give players ultimate bragging rights to flex against their opposing laner, one ability at a time.

Being a fashion icon comes at a price, though. Collector Skins are only available once a month via the monthly limited-time event, the Grand Collection, requiring either Diamonds or Grand Collection Tokens to enter into the randomized draw.

Since July 2020, Moonton Games have since added 38 Collector Skins to the game, aiming to create one for each of the game's different heroes.

How To Get Collector Skins in ML?

Collector Skins in Mobile Legends are only available via two methods: the Epic Showcase (which is no longer active) or the Grand Collection event. Here is the Grand Collection event works:

Grand Collection

The Grand Collection is a limited-time event where players participate using Grand Collection Tokens to draw rare items and skins from the Super prize pool. This includes the Collector Skin featured in the current event. Other rewards include Emblems, Rare Fragments, and Tickets.

Players can earn Grand Collection Tokens by completing in-game challenges below or purchasing them outright using Diamonds. Any unused Grand Collection Tokens will be removed at the end of the event and will not carry over into the following month's event.

When participating in the Grand Collection, players can choose from available Super Prizes, as each draw grants a 16% chance to enter the Super Prize pool. If they haven't selected Super Prizes manually, they will be drawn from one of the pre-selected Super Prizes available.

A permanent skin will always be guaranteed in the first two Super Prizes drawn, and the Super Prize drawn is guaranteed to be one of the selected Super Prizes.

There are a total of 36 draws to get the selected Collector Skin for the month, with the cost per draw outlined below:

• From the 1st to the 18th draw, each draw performed increases the cost of the next draw by 10 Diamonds
• 19th to 23rd draw costs 190 Diamonds each
• 24th to 30th draw costs 250 Diamonds each
• 31st to 36th draw is 310 Diamonds each

Note: The first draw every day is 50% off. Each Grand Collection Token can deduct one Diamond from the overall draw cost.

All prizes drawn will be removed from the current prize pool. Duplicate skins drawn will be converted into corresponding numbers of Grand Collection Tokens (400 for Epic Skin, 200 for Special Skin, 100 for Elite Skin, and 50 for Basic Skin).

Final Thoughts

Collector Skins in MLBB may require digging deep into your wallet or grinding through the event challenges. However, they are well worth the investment for the style points you get, as your opponents will be frothing with jealousy.
