The second League of Legends ranked split is now well underway, so the Riot Games balance team has now turned their attention toward the backend of the year. While LoL patch 14.11 won't be as large in scope as the previous patch, some significant changes are still hitting Summoner's Rift next week.
There will be a rework to Ornn's Living Forge passive and tweaks to lane swapping as Riot looks to realign the meta in pro-play and competitive after MSI 2024. League patch 14.11 will feature ten champion buffs, seven champion nerfs, and a handful of adjustments to items/runes.
Without further ado, here are the complete patch notes for League of Legends 14.11, including all champion buffs, nerfs, new skins, and more.
According to Riot Games' official patch timetable, League of Legends patch 14.11 will come out on Thursday, May 30, 2024.
LoL patch 14.11 will be introduced gradually to accommodate different time zones and global servers. The rollout will commence in the Southern Hemisphere, with the Oceanic server at approximately 10 AM AEST.
There will be a brief downtime when patching begins, and matchmaking queues will likely be taken offline as Riot Games implement the latest update.
Here's (roughly) when you can expect the League of Legends 14.11 patch to roll out:
After its finale, the 2024 Mid-Season Invitational has been a hot topic of conversation, in which Gen.G emerged as the champions over BLG. Since the Grand Final, Riot Games has been looking to target some of the meta picks and choices, including lane swaps.
Lane swapping was a popular strategy utilized by many teams throughout the tournament, with teams adapting to different lane matchups, like double-ranged bot lanes. As a result, Riot will adjust first turret gold values and ADCs to combat this.
K'Sante was also the most picked top laner throughout MSI. Often enough, he'd be able to hold his own 1v5 and emerge virtually unscathed. As such, Riot Games has made some targeted changes to his self-healing to reduce just how much damage he can actually take, so he shouldn't be so generally durable. Marksmen are also getting some adjustments to their snowballing capabilities.
Rise from the flames like a phoenix from the ashes with three new additions to the Infernal skin-line. Get a new look for your favorite champions, flex your skills (and skins) in lane, and go up in a blaze of glory!
Ornn is getting some huge changes to his passive, the Living Forge. For those who don't know, Ornn could have previously upgraded one of his teammates' items. However, his allies needed to specifically build one of Ornn's upgradable items. These items had unique names and new stats, making it difficult for Riot, who had to tweak every Ornn item whenever the items systems gets changed like in the last patch.
In League patch 14.11, Ornn can now upgrade ALL legendary items besides Support Quest Items, Mejai's Soulstealer, unstacked Tear items, and Vigilant Wardstone. All upgraded items will also get a "Masterwork" tag, differentiating them from their non-upgraded counterpart. Ornn can still only upgrade one item per ally, defaulting to the item in the first slot of a teammates' inventory.
Only certain priority stats will be upgraded alongside this update, including Attack Damage, Ability Power, Armor, base Health, Ability Haste, and Attack Speed. Less valuable stats like Mana or Movement Speed will likely be skipped over.
League of Legends patch 14.10 was huge regarding item changes and introducing new runes. As such, Riot Games is still finding their feet and is slightly adjusting some outlying runes and items to make more sense in the current meta.
In particular, they are trying to present more viable options for Smolder and encourage players to take on more Sheen items and crit builds for the Fiery Fledgling.

In the popular 2v2v2v2v2v2v2v2 Arena game mode, Riot Games will be buffing weak champions and nerfing healing and nerfing fighters. To level the playing field, they will also be taking a swing at off-meta Legendary and Prismatic items. Buffs targeted at Ekko, Fizz, LeBlanc, Corki, Viktor, Ziggs, and Akshan. Nerfs are targeted at Darius, Vi, Garen, Gragas, Vladimir, Trundle, Briar, and Aatrox.
Corki was in a weird spot with some Arena-specific nerfs that no longer made sense following his recent rework in LoL patch 14.10. Riot Games will bring him back into the fold with this newest update.
Those were the complete early patch notes for League update 14.11, going live on May 20, 2024. We're excited to see if the Ornn rework boosts his pick rates, especially with his potential to be a tank/support pick.
