It's that time of year again! Competitive Mobile Legends is back in the Philippines with the professional league MPL Philippines Season 14, kicking off on August 16. The Regular Season lasts for eight weeks, hosted at the luxurious Green Sun Hotel in Makati City.

As always, eight franchised teams will compete for the lion's share of the $150K prize pool and the glory of being the best MPL Philippines team in the region. Team Liquid PH are the current defending champions; will they be able to maintain their dominance, or will an underdog snatch their title away?

MPL PH S14: Format

MPL Philippines Season 14 will kick off with the Regular Season on August 16. As with MPL Philippines Season 13, the Regular Season features a double round-robin format where all matches are Bo3.

The teams will gain points based on games won with a simple scoring system. The top six teams with the most points from the Regular Season advance to the Playoffs

• Gain 1 point for winning a match
• No points for losing a match

The exact date for the Playoffs is still TBA. Like MPL Philippines Season 13, the Playoffs will have a hybrid elimination format. All matches are Bo5, except the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, both Bo7.

• 3rd to 6th placed teams compete in Round 1 of the Playoffs (Single Elimination).
• 1st and 2nd seeded teams receive a Round Bye and start in Round 2 (Double Elimination).
